What You’ll Need:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of Las Mexicanas Mild Tomatillo Salsa
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 8 Las Mexicanas Gluten-Free Tortillas
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for garnish
Directions:
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and garlic to the pan, and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in Las Mexicanas Mild Tomatillo Salsa, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well mixed.
- Add the pineapple chunks to the pan and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the pineapple is warmed through and slightly caramelised.
- Heat Las Mexicanas Gluten-Free Tortillas on a separate pan or directly over a flame for about 30 seconds per side.
- Assemble tacos by placing the cooked beef and pineapple mixture in the tortillas. Top with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime.
- Serve with additional Las Mexicanas salsa on the side
