Authentic Mexican Tacos

What You’ll Need:

Ingredients:

    • 1 lb ground beef 
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tbsp of Las Mexicanas Mild Tomatillo Salsa
    • 1 tsp chili powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks
    • 8 Las Mexicanas Gluten-Free Tortillas
    • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
    • Lime wedges, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic to the pan, and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in Las Mexicanas Mild Tomatillo Salsa, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well mixed.
  4. Add the pineapple chunks to the pan and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the pineapple is warmed through and slightly caramelised.
  5. Heat Las Mexicanas Gluten-Free Tortillas on a separate pan or directly over a flame for about 30 seconds per side.
  6. Assemble tacos by placing the cooked beef and pineapple mixture in the tortillas. Top with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime.
  7. Serve with additional Las Mexicanas salsa on the side
